During my sophomore year at MU, I jumped ahead in my curriculum and worked as an editorial assistant for Vox Magazine. Vox is a city magazine that covers everything from eat and drink, city life events, trends, culture and more.

I researched and wrote the online daily calendar event blurbs that also appeared in print. I also picked up a few stories and continue to be a freelance writer for Vox.

I’ve written about musician Jeff Hamilton, whose music was in the movie Crazy Rich Asians, comedian Lewis Black, country-pop star Maren Morris, and more!
