As a start of my journalism career, my involvement on my high school’s student news publication, Talon Times, as Managing Editor, 2016-2017, pushed me to become a better leader and better journalist overall. Every aspiring goal must start somewhere, and my somewhere was my high school’s publication as it was an outlet for me to begin interviewing, writing, and editing.
