Hello!
My name is Emmy, Em for short. Simply, I am a storyteller and writer. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Missouri, studying Magazine Editing. I received my bachelor’s of journalism from the University of Missouri in December 2020. Throughout my career thus far as a journalist, I have worked for Bloomberg News covering municipal finance, as managing editor for Vox Magazine, as an editorial intern for Modern Luxury: Chicago, among others. I have the heart of a midwesterner and the passion of a storyteller. Through my blog, I share anything from my adventures and outlooks on life to trends and crafty ideas.
I believe life should be lived so colorfully. Life is a blank canvas and it’s your job to paint your story. Whether it is through adventures or a new perspective, I hope you find my blog to inspire you to create your life to be colorful through all your endeavors. At the end of the day, life is simple; it’s what you make out of it.
